About

The Funktion House is a DJ livestream platform that was created 4.5 years ago by Anthony Vitale and Michael Gentile to promote the DJ Culture. Its primary purpose was to help mentor and showcase up and coming DJs along with raising awareness of the DJs that played a role in the DJ scene throughout the world.

What We Do

The Funktion House has brought together so many DJs, Producers, Promoters and has created a network of people that we like to refer to as our extended family. It has always been about helping and has always been personally financed by Anthony and Michael. As always, a business cannot sustain without some type of revenue model so 8 months ago The Funktion House created an additional lane for DJs to rent studio time to create their own personal livestream shows that can be branded how the DJs see fit.

The Funktion House is what keeps the art of DJing alive and we want to keep it open not for us personally but for all the DJs out there to tell their stories and express themselves musically!

Giving Back

The Funktion House has never charged a DJ to be interviewed or play a set on any shows they have personally created. This has always been done free of charge. Any DJ that has paid to stream at The Funktion House has done so for their own personal brand and promotion.

Our Goal

We are hoping to raise five thousand dollars via this fundraiser to be able to continue to provide live streaming, studio, video and audio production services to the house music community. Any amount that you can donate will help us keep the lights on at The Funktion House! 100% of each donations goes directly to The Funktion House.

The Virtual House Music Concert Series is the house music community coming together online during the Covid-19 Pandemic to continue the house music, bond, culture and journey. From the comforts of your own homes, you will be entertained, have memorable experiences as together we continue to spread the love of house music.

We welcome you to the concert series “hub” for all things happening before, during, and after the event.

The family-friendly, four-concert series will live stream on HMC On-Air from late January – May of 2021. Our 1st event as part of the Virtual House Music Concert series is a 12-hour. 12-DJ marathon kick-off party scheduled for January 31, 2021.  The house music community will come together to show support for Mike and Anthony the owners of The Funktion House located in Red Hook Brooklyn, NY. 

We will raise funds to assist them in keeping their doors open to continue to provide DJing, production, broadcasting, and studio services to the house music community.

House Music Community will be organizing a one day Virtual Summit Entertainment, Live Streaming and Sponsorship.
The summit will take place on the HMC On-Air platform in June of 2021. It will bring together event planners, producer’s, house music industry entertainers, live streaming platforms, technology and sponsors in a series of webinars, workshops and online interviews, facilitating a knowledge sharing platform.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the music industry  has been devastating. The summit will enable and facilitate participants to share strategies around how the industry can work together to overcome the repercussions of COVID-19 and do their part to revitalize its growth. Additionally, this virtual summit will focus on the future of live streaming and hybrid events and how to leverage it in order to thrive as we build back better!
